Beartooth Loop National Recreation TrailLooking south toward Losekamp Lake and Stockade Lake from a pullout and trailhead overlooking Gardiner Lake.

The trail, Number 613.1B, leads due south from this point, skirts the very southern tip of Gardiner Lake and at 1.5 miles intersects with trail #629. At this intersection, one can either continue south on #613.1B another 2.4 miles to the junction of trails #613.1 and #613, or, turn right at the fork with #629 and follow #629 west 1.8 miles to the junction with trails #629 and #613.1A.
