Kepler Cascades Base
The base or bottom portion of the Kepler Cascades on the Firehole River. Here, the Firehole River drops approximately 150 feet as it plunges down a series of drop offs forming several waterfalls, the highest of which is about 50 feet. The Kepler Cascades are located about 1.5 to 2 miles southwest of Old Faithful and are accessed via a parking area off the section of the Old Faithful to West Thumb section of the Grand Loop highway, or, US 191.
